Small Business Hiring Surge

Small U.S. businesses, one to nine employees, are experiencing a surge in job openings, accounting for 21.0% of all job openings in September. This trend shows a tilt in the labor market towards small businesses, with technology enabling them to operate more effectively and hire from a wider geographic pool. Despite a slowdown in overall wage growth, small businesses continue to seek workers to capitalize on solid demand and counter potential economic slowdowns.
